What we collect and why

When you contact us, through the website form, by email or by phone, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your enquiry. We use it to answer you, quote for work, and carry out that work. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

When you become a customer, we hold contact details, site addresses, purchase and job history, and the records needed to run your account. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract, and legal obligation where records must be kept for tax or safety reasons.

When you join our mailing list, we hold your name and email address so we can send you news, offers and information about our services. Our lawful basis is consent, or legitimate interest where you are an existing customer. You can unsubscribe from any email, or by emailing us.

When you visit the website, we collect information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies, including pages viewed and how you reached us. This only happens where you have agreed to it. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell, rent or trade your details with anyone for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

Sites and businesses we work with, where we must show that our engineers hold the certificates and qualifications required for the work.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.

Keeping it secure

We hold your information on systems protected by access controls and encryption in transit, and we limit access to staff who need it to do their job. No system is completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will tell you and the Information Commissioner promptly if a breach affects your rights.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you; to have it corrected if it is wrong; to ask us to delete it; to restrict or object to how we use it, including a right to stop direct marketing at any time; and to receive it in a portable format.
